    Tamiya Lunchbox

    Great looking RC car. Body is durable and easy to spray, or just keep it as it comes with the white base. Stickers are pre cut making placement much easier. This is quite an easy kit to put together , although before you do so I would suggest upgrading the nylon bearings that come with the kit for ball bearings. They only cost around £8 for the set and is probably one of the best things you can do. They will put less strain on the motor and extend the battery life. Also the shocks aren't great, this would be the only other upgrade I would suggest. Again , these are relatively inexpensive but will stop your Lunchbox bouncing around too much and give you better overall control. Altogether a great purchase and will give children or adults many hours of fun.

    Lunch Box, great for so many reasons. x

    Bought this for my sons birthday to give his first rc car experience. Something to get him off the PS4. It worked! And he is proud of it, because he built it and painted it himself. I can see the joy in his face when he uses it. Bit of advice:- Best not to get the cheapest battery you can. I got a 5000 MNih bat, it takes a hour or so to charge and it lasts over half hour (hard play).. We didn't swap the motor yet, the one it comes with is plenty fast enough for now. The suspension could do with oil shock upgrades but the standard suspension is good and fit for purpose. One big thing the servo horn, buy the metal one for it. The one that comes is plastic, and a few knocks to the front wheels and it wares the teeth out. A metal servo horn is £5 or so... We liked it so much, we have ...

    Great fun for not alot of money

    Great first kit for my son ( who's 7) had lots of tamiya kits when I was younger so I know they're good value for money. Highly recommended kit for beginners old or young. And easily modified to any spec with lights ( see picture ) brushless motors and such like.

    RC car kit

    This is the first rc car kit and I have really enjoyed building it. It will take some time and you need to reed properly the instructions. I had some challenges to set it up but in the end everything was fine. The car itself goes really quickly.
