AAAAA. A little pricey for a SL$1 with a hole, but it was my bid. Other than the hole the coin was totally original and void of any other distracting marks or problems usually encountered on these coins. Holes were common in these coins because the intrinsic value exceeded the stated value. So what often happened (pre Comstock Load discovery era) were these coins were exported, melted or (as in this case) hole drilled into them and essentially three cents of Silver was removed & coin circulated.
