  • I'm a minimalist and I love this keyboard.

If you're in to minimalist design and functional keyboard, I think this keyboard is the best for you. Having no arrow or numeric keys makes it easier for my hands to reach on all keys with the slightest movement. It has arrow keys in the second layer which can be activated by holding the function key right beside the right shift.

  • Great keyboard

THis is a pretty awesome keyboard. Does take some getting used to no legends on the keycaps, but it's very nice to type on.

  • Topre keys in compact format

For me, Topre keys are far superior other mechanical keys like Cherry. Exact and predictable response each keypress and silent like a rubber dome keyboard. The compact format is really comfortable. I'm a VIM user, so I don't use the arrow keys very much, but when I need them they are easy enough to reach via the function combo. Have been using HHKBp2 for three years now. Just bought a second one to have the same setup at home and work. Using it in Windows and GNU/Linux approximately 50/50. Expensive? Well, not many cents per keypress, that's for sure. I keep my fingers on the keys for at least five hours a day, seven days a week. I love my fingers too much to give them less than the best.
