Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Mixed Hand Tool Sets
Item looks and feels like the big brand ones in the shop, case has allot of mould marks from quick manufacture. The seal on the radiator caps is a rubber grommet and o-ring which needs to be sealed correctly or you will get a false leakdown when testing!! Best practice when doing a pressure test is to squirt a bit if soapy water on the air connections. Otherwise you could go looking for a head gasket for no reason! I unscrewed the test cap pressure fittings and applied sealant around the threads and fittings(aviation gasket) to ensure a good seal(wait for it to set!!) and then use it like normal. The vacuum test and refill is a great extra tool to have in your arsenal in the shed. Can help prevent refilling and having airpockets in the head. Havent used it yet. Overall very good kit for the money. It is cheaper than the big brands and the pump feels cheap. Could by a proper pump and keep the cheaper fittings. If you are a business or high throughput home workshop, spend the bigger dollars and get the good kit from Repco etc. They can give you a good discount if youre nice to them!Read full review
