Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Mitre Saws
I use a saw in my welding shop daily, and some have lasted and some not so much. This saw not only cuts through steel like butter, it will cut wood, aluminum, plastic and pvc pipe. My Makita has always held up and this saw is every bit as good. The best part is my Makita blades are only good for steel, while these blades cut damn near everything. Cost of my blades for my Makita are 130.00 each and last if nobody cuts anything besides steel. These blades are 70.00 bucks each and last longer. If you need a great metal cutting saw with the option to cut anything without ruining the blade....this is your saw!

The blade only lasted like 15-20 cuts and I was going easy on it. The vice clamp is pretty cheap. Won't stay at 90 and very difficult to miter to 45. It also doesn't have a stop so you cant repeat lengths of cut, and it's pretty difficult to line up because of the cheap vice. So even if I got a bad blade or whatever, it still doesn't make up for the fact it's a cheap build. It would have been better to pay a little extra for a Dewalt or Porter Cable.

Amazing! So much better than the abrasive saw that I was using. I can only say I wish I had purchased it earlier and saved the time I've wasted on other saws. Leaves a clean edge, no grinding, metal is cool and able to be welded immediately!

THIS! I usually don't do reviews on tools and this is not so much a review as much as a thumbs up for this piece of equipment. I needed to cut a bunch of square tubing for a shop project I was working on and really didn't want to have to hand cut each piece by hand, so I started looking for an abrasive chop saw. I remember seeing some guy on Youtube using a chop-saw that had a toothed blade that literally ate through the metal stock being cut. Having worked in the metal working industry I was a bit wary of putting a cold saw blade on an abrasive saw and began doing some research on this super saw. Come to find out the blade cannot be used with just any saw and is matched speed-wise with the Evolution's Rage2 saw, which is considerably slower than a typical abrasive saw, but faster than a cold saw. I watched a few videos on Youtube and was pretty much sold on this rig, but was still a bit apprehensive and wondering if I'd get buyers remorse after using it. I decided to take the plunge and purchase one. This is one purchase I have not regretted. As true to the statements of the reviews this thing is a beast. It cuts through steel like butter...and fast. And, there is no abrasive dust to breath in, which is real nice. And, the cut piece is cool to the touch right after cutting. Try that with a freshly cut part out of an abrasive saw. You'll iron your fingers. Now, most of ya'll won't need anything like this, but I do know a few who do like to or need to Seriously, this is a bad MOFO at a very reasonable price. Cuts great. Base is cheaply made, and is a definite weakness. Because of the excessive size of the slot under the blade, it sometimes throws small pieces, so care is needed. However, it will part a 4" i-beam in 33 seconds. Wear your PPE, the work piece is cold, but the chips are BLUE HOT! Great saw for a fantastic price. It could be better, but for $500 less than the competition, it can't be beat!
