It's a nice radio, however this is my bad.... I have the Panasonic one that looks almost exactly the same so, I purchased this one thinking they were the same radio with different badges on it. They almost are with subtle differences. The main one I was not please with is the fact that it runs on "D" batteries. My Panasonic one runs on AA which are more common these days and cost a lot less then "D" batteries. This is my issue for not reading the SPECIFICATIONS. Still a good radio.
