    great addition for floor screed

    These fibres add great strength to a floor screed mix and resist fracturing on thin layers of screed massively, I used this in the mix for a 50-70mm screed over insulation and underfloor heating pipes and would recommend it for that. A shovel sized amount of left over screed dried on a board fairly flat is almost impossible to break where without the fibres it would just crack and break if impacted. The only issue with these fibres is separating them when adding to the mixer, they tend to clump a little so you need to spend a bit of time breaking them apart as you gradually put them in the mix.

    Does what its supposed to do!

    Its fibres for concrete! stops shrinkage cracking allowing a stronger mix, combined with a water proofer/plasticiser its allows a very strong screed for floors without the risk of shrinkage cracks. Can also be used in mortars etc. A little goes a long way, about 40g per mix in a 150L mixer.

    good for rendering

    used the fibers when rendering my wall along with a pva additive, helps to stop cracking and prevents layers separating. only slight downside is you will see the fibers slightly protruding on final layer of render but helps wall paint to key to wall
