- t***b (1641)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseNot an exact fit for the 1973 XL250 in that the mounting screw hole was a bit to small for the OEM screw. No big deal to enlarge the hole with a drill bit. Also, the OEM filter screen fits in the petcock but does no good since the gas exit port is above the screen level. Will need to use an external fuel filter on the gas line to the carb to ensure no dirt or rust particles get through.
