    A book I wish I'd found years ago!

    For 20+ years I've tried off and on to season new cast iron cookware to become my very own, like my mother and grandmother had theirs. I was never successful even though I followed directions to the letter. Reading Mr. Livingston's book with his explanation of WHY to go along with every HOW TO has convinced me to try again. The difference? I now understand the reasons behind the "to do" as well as the "must never do" lists. It is an easy-to-read book which I enjoyed like a novel. With Cajun Cooking so popular, a new generation of cast iron cooks is inevitable. (Maybe I should buy stock???)
