    These are slightly shorter than OEM. The washer fitted to the bottom swivel is too small, so it pulls through the bodywork and tightens onto the nut plate. The nut plate is only held by a couple of spot welds, which will fail over time if the tailgate weight is on the welds. You must fit larger washers so the bolt clamps to the bodywork.
