    The set of 2 Cross Bars are great quality. They shipped very quickly and packaged well. However the only complaint I have is the hex screws on one cross bar were loose and somewhat stripped. It was difficult to secure the placement of the screws before application. No instructions but designed to be easy.

    Item was described as new, however upon arrival I found what looked like dirt marks on the bars. Also, the tops of the screws looked to have been used before as they had scratches and missing paint. There was a screw that would fall out of its hole due to the threads being stripped. Thankfully I was able to return the bars.

    Does the job?

    Seems reasonably well manufactured. Obviously a Subaru type product knock off. Does not really look truly Factory even though it has a label that would indicate such. Does not make any noise while driving but but since I haven't actually carried anything on it yet, I can't vouch for its strength or durability!

    Genuine part easy to install.

    No extra tools required to install these crossbars to your Forester. They provide you with the appropriate screwdriver. Easy to figure out even without instructions, but you can find installation videos on YouTube easy enough.

    Easy to install, perfect fit, but not flat.

    These are the lowest-profile crossbars I have found that fit, and they are fairly aerodynamic and don't make much wind noise. The only issue that some people have is that the bars are slightly arched instead of flat. If you are mounting a basket or box on top, it will sit on the crossbars but won't lay flat on the rails. It's worth it to me to not add 1-2" of height like many crossbar systems do.
