    Who’s Next remastered cd

Who’s Next has always been one of my β€œdesert island” recordings since first hearing it in the early 70’s. First on vinyl (which I still have) to one of the first cds I we got in the early 80’s which I played the other night which made me realize I had to look for a remastered version. β€œWow!” What a difference. This sounds great. Opens up that early cd where engineers didn’t quite know how to remaster recordings that pre-date cd and digital. Pete’s acoustic guitars sound crisp, Roger’s vocals are fantastic, John’s incredible bass line come through like never before, and Keith’s drumming is insane! Extra songs okay but unnecessary.

Good price for hard to find CD!

A hard to find edition of a great album, fairly price here but the condition of the disc isn't in great condition, it needed cleaning and was scratched quite a bit. All though I got a good price for this edition of this album, it needs tending to. Once again though hard edition of the album to find, at a reasonable price.

  • "Who's Next" by The Who

Like many Baby Boomers, I grew up listening to the Who. This is the heart of "classic rock" and this album is their greatest work (the greatest among greats). So, of course, I had to have it on CD. While the CD is classic and the original songs are worth the purchase I can't say that the "extras" are worth the extra effort or cost. Let's just say that there was a reason that Peter Townsend or his producers left them off of this album or any other album. Luckily, I paid the same for this CD as I would have for the same CD without the extra songs! Buy this CD for the classic songs you love remastered to high quality - don't bother with anything extra that is offered to you if it costs more.

  • The Last Great Who Album

Nothing the Who did after this has the power and passion and melody of this masterpiece, which also has the benefit of extra tracks which are almost equal to the original tracks. Tommy was mostly filler and the Who by Numbers merely sucked. The only bad thing about this album is something which it can't help-its songs being appropriated for all of those horrible and moronic CIS shows. Just picture Won't get Fooled Again to the one dimensional boredom of the world's worst actor, David Caruso.

  • Still great!

To me this is the best who album that was put out. It is just as powerful now as it was 40+ years ago! The bonus tracks add a little "POP" to it. Adding this to your collection is a MUST!
