The motor is an exact replacement -except- for the longer shaft. Like other customers, I was able to modify to accomodate and all works again like new. Great job, good price, happy customer !

this was not an exact replacement for my dyson, it required modification with a significant tool (the pinion is too long). despite the dimensions of the motor itself being exact. I would expect dyson changed the housing for their beater head but, be warned. Wiring was a bit different too but this was less of an issue to correct.
