Synopsis
This book is intended for general; students in colleges of further education, teachers of children's literature, students on such courses, Victorian fiction studies., Drawing on his knowledge of Africa and of ancient legends, adventure writer H. Rider Haggard weaves this disturbing tale of Ayesha, the mysterious and immortal white queen of a Central African tribe. She is a pioneering work in the "Lost World" genre.

  • The seller was very true to his/her word.

The book had a couple of highlighted pages and some dog-eared pages. A little bit of wearing on the front cover, but it served my purposes for reading for a college English literature course. I like it because it was cheap and all of the pages were in tact.
