    Arrived quickly easy to fit

    Fitted to Baxi duo-tec 28. Easy to fit, the steps I took:Turned off power to boiler, Isolated cold water and flow and return to radiators. Opened hot water tap. Drained boiler. Remove the 2 old screws (give each a small tweak to tighten before unscrewing and the manoeuvre the old unit up and out. Remove old washers that still sit on the boiler side of where the unit sat and replace with the new ones. Then refit unit in reverse steps to remove. When I turned the boiler back on it there was a bit knocking for about a minute but this soon went away after running a bit of hot water

    Baxi Combi 105e

    This part is an excellent replacement for the original Plate Heat Exchanger for the Baxi Combi 105e. Prior to installation, the hot water from the taps was very, very slow to be delivered and never rose to full temperature. The shower ran hot and cold as the gas burners of the boiler failed to remain on whilst the water was flowing. Replacing the clogged up old heat exchanger with this one resolved all the problems immediately. BG had quoted £800 for a power flush of the system and fitting a replacement heat exchanger. Undoubtedly the system would benefit from a power flush but in the meantime, £40 to have a hot shower and hot water from the taps, even if only for a couple of years, seems to be great value in comparison.

    Perfect replacement for OEM part in a Promax Combi HE plus.

    Appart from a stick on label, this unit was physically identical with the original unit it replaced. The two mounting screws were slightly different in head type but fitted anyway. I did have one small leak with one of the four seals which had a 'nick' in it, but to be fair I might have caused this. This replacement has made a huge difference to an 8-year old boiler on how hot the water can get now, and the volume of water throughout. Just as we remember it as new!

    Baxi Combi Plate Heat Exchanger

    Arrived promptly and in very good condition, was obviously brand new. Have had it installed and has improved the reliability of the hot water supply especially for the shower. Is not the complete answer though as the hot water taps still run hot and cold but is much better. The water gets hotter quicker and stays hot for longer. As I said the shower is much improved. Was going to by a new boiler but will hang on to this one for a bit longer now.

    So far so good

    I now have a hot powerful shower. Replaceing and fitting was really easy i managed to do it myself with a bit of help from the boiler instruction manual.. and youtube help to show me how to drain the primary system.. the screws that came with the product had a hex type head which i didnt have a driver for so I just used the exisitng screws.
