The hat's warm, and that's why I bought it! BUT it's a bit goofy and I personally won't be leaving the house in it, IN A NUTSHELL IT'S JUST A CRAPPY FIT AND LOOK, But hey that's just my opinion! Other people might think it's the best thing since sliced bread. So really it's a very personal thing, so if you don't care how you look, then for the price it's a brilliant warm & cosy hat for really cold winter months..The hat's warm, and that's why I bought it! Thick warm and cozy, external wooly hat and internal thick fleece lining. One point to note however, it fits my small head (size S/M 56cm) very well, should fit a size L 58/60cm, but personally I think it would likely be a bit too small for an adult male XL 62cm+ head.

I'd read a review that said because this beanie did not have crown insulation, the writer could feel heat loss thru' it - what a load of tosh - it is so warm that I had to remove it a couple of times during my walks too cool down. Totally recommend this beanie, good value for money and fits well. Poor fit
The Beanie hat is warm in cold weather but doesn't look good as the stitching which gives the hat a round crown has been has been poorly done resulting in a square appearance and angular look as though you have a square head but in saying that do you want to be warm which it does or looking good which it doesn't do
