    It works fine. Just be careful using one like this with the sharp points when removing a seal from an aluminum housing. It's very easy to gouge the material if you're not paying enough attention. But it's very compact and will get to seals that are in tight spots much easier than the long handle version. Lisle has produced pretty consistent quality tools for a long time. It has a 3/8 drive on the end that increases its maneuverability.

    Best version and best brand of seal puller.

    If you're looking for a good seal puller this is the only one you will ever need. They ultimately have 3 versions. 2 with a handle (1 is fixed 1 is adjustable) and this one. This one will work for everything however. With the 3/8 drive you can put a ratchet on it and literally put the ratchet at any angle you need and then just add a cheater bar and bob's your uncle. Solid, thick, heavy duty and made in America. Very happy I choose this version and brand. Hands down best way to go. If you're on the fence get it. It saves a lot of time pulling seals. Worth it's weight in gold no ? about it.

    Limited access seal puller LIS-56920

    Limited access seal puller LIS-56920 is a real good tool to add to your tool collection. This seal puller works with a 3/8" drive ratchet and makes pulling smaller diameter seals real easy. I used this seal puller on a 1999 Tahoe front differential axle seals.
