This projector is amazing. Don't be fooled by its compact size, it blows away a lot of the competition and is way up there on picture quality, brightness, ease of setup and flexibility. Good backlit remote, access a whole load of functions to enable you to have it exactly as you want. Have tried blu rays, consoles and its brilliant. Easily connects to audio system through HDMI. I don't know how Optoma have managed to cram so much for so little money. A true GTi of the projector world. Really recommended.

After doing alot of research into projectors lcd and dlp,the one that always came up with excellent reviews time after time was the OPTOMA HD65.Its native HD 720p so the picture quality is AMAZING with a HD source,i have it connected to my sky hd and xbox 360 and it NEVER fails to impress.the only gripe i have is that it has a very limited lens zoom so getting the perfect position is key to setup,i have mine setup perfect from approx 11ft from wall and have a HUGE picture!!!(Wife thinks too big!)Great for games and watching movies i couldn't recommend this purchase highly enough. You won't be dissapointed P.S. I have used this with a screen and prefer it projected straight onto wall(Light colours are best)
Amazing image, not too colour-wheel crazy. Had some great moments with PS4 and films last Christmas. However... the electronics can overheat. Apparently now the lamp driver module has died so wont fire up the lamp : ( The parts are around £25 plus the mayhem of resoldering the components after a full strip-down ). If you still have a working one try to keep it cool. Maybe add an extra fan.

The HD65 is a decent projector however, it has more then a few issues. Most notability and annoying is that, anything sent over the HDMI takes both audio and video to the projector, only problem is, this projector does not have a built-in speaker nor a audio out Jack so you can connect to an external speaker, only solution is. To take audio out of your source, very difficult when your device (ps4) only has HDMI. The 3D upgrade is a good touch but not really 3D ready, you need the optima 3DXL adaptor to connect 3D source to it. Over all, an OK projector but if you have a few extra queds go for something a little more expensive.
