  • Do not switch DC current with this device.

THIS IS NOT A DC CURRENT SWITCHING DEVICE. USING IT TO SWITCH DC CURRENT (ie 300V DC PV solar panel strings) IS A STUPID AND DANGEROUS THING TO DO. IT CAN CAUSE A FIRE. DC switches use a different contact size and break arrangement to AC switches. DC energy produces a greater arc potential that AC. DC switches sometimes have an arc Shute to direct the arc away from the contacts, these switches are polarised for this reason. Using an AC switch for a DC application, especially for a relatively high voltage may (probably will) cause the contacts to melt down which may (probably will) cause an electrical fire. USE A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO CARRY OUT ELECTRICAL WORK.

  • Not like the genuine item BUT good enough for the task

These switches are a tad flimsy but the seem to work ok for the task we needed. Switching 300VDC @ 25A and does not get warm let alone hot. use 2 for series parallel connections to solar panels.
