Valeo make the starters for the E46 but found this company that makes these which are an upgrade. Fitted it to my car and now the car starts up. Hopefully should last for a very long time. Fits the same as the original Valeo with the mounting lug and bolts lining up exactly the same. Shipped incredibly fast from the seller, got it the next day.

Can’t rate these guys high enough. Alternator gave up yesterday morning, ordered from these at 11 am, new one here 11am today. They even message you for your Reg number to check you get the right one. Back on the road in 24hours Local parts supplier wanted £240 compared to £98 from here. Opened the box and there was a packet of skittles to much on. !!
