If your looking for a good subwoofer I would recommend this subwoofer I only have it connected to a pioneer Champion series amp and hits hard and supposedly the amp is 1,600 watts but it hit so I would recommend this woofer but if u buying one make sure u have a good amp also.. I did have a kicker L7 and there no competition this subwoofer hits lower then a L7 12-inch

It's an amazing sub, but it doesn't fit in most prefab boxes. The cutout needs to be 11 1/8th or more to flush mount one of these. Two of these has my car actually flexing and I'm only giving them about 950watts each. Inverted them to fit in the box. I suggest making sure the cutout is at least 11.25" if you want to flush mount. Overall, it's a super sounding/powerful sub. Highly recommend it :)

I have to say this is a really amazing subwoofer and for the price it cannot be beat! Definitely takes it’s recommended power and doesn’t have a problem. Could take more than it’s rated power actually.

I bought these to replace my American bass elite 1244's and they don't have the omph that they did.Maybe they will after they are broken in?I have two 6000 watt torque amplifiers strapped together on two of these and they can handle it.Over all good subwoofers. But most American bass subwoofers are.
