I had reviewed this 3 days ago after receiving an email requesting feedback. Here's the short version.The old actuator was intermittent since last Xmas.The old motor was underperforming but the spindle was unbroken this time. I used all the items in one of the 4 kits, just to make sure it wouldn't fail again prematurely.Ten days later and I check it every time I lock the car. Works great.

Cheaper than replacing the whole lock.
I decided to get the 4 pack of Actuator Repair Kits as I have had this type of door fault previously. On 2 previous occasions I have had to replace the entire door locks. This time the lock would sometimes lock successfully, other times it would leave the car vulnerable. It has been happening on and off since Xmas 2022 (it's now May 2023).The white plastic spindle was not broken this time, it seems the motor was getting old, just not powerful enough. When I bench-tested the old motor with 12 volts, I was able to stop it rotating with my fingers. The motor in this new kit nearly burnt my fingers with the friction when I tried to stop it. I used the remainder of the items in one of the four Kits as an added precaution, using a bit of Vaseline for lubrication where the spindle mates with the ... Good value
Relatively easy to install once you get the hang of it, just take plenty of photos on your phone as you disassemble the actuator. There is also a YouTube video showing how to change them. I now have all four doors working at a fraction of the cost of new actuators.
