Excellent sound duality across the entire frequency range . Tested with Hi Res ( 24 bit/96Khz ) , low/high bit rate mp3 ( 128 kbps/ 320 kbps ) and apple lossless format . Once the burn-in period ends sound quality will improve further. Will definitely recommend anybody to get it . The price that it is available ( $54 around ) is a steal for money. I have a collection of audiophile and hi res headphones from Sennheiser ,panasonic , sony , jays, bose headphones ... I would say except for the midrange response of Sennheiser this is better in all aspect. Excellent dynamic headphones of entry level.
I was expecting a typical 'budget Japanese sound' with pronounced volume basses that had failed in the middle and bright, cheerful high, deep in the heart of hope for a small miracle. It was done ... Though small, but significant. Not a boring sound with slightly highlighted, average volume bass. With a soft, but delineated panchem, a natural, distinctly readable guitar mid, natural female and male vocals. Of course, not the most outstanding middle, but we will be supportive, this sound will not be given out every and every more expensive headphones.
