As per description. It is a medium firm not soft at all but not hard. I was hoping it would be a little soft as for my back & hipso I put a material topper on top of it to eleviate pain I was getting. This is not the topper fault it is my bed is so firm I really need a new one.Quality is good. It pumped up very well no issues other than the smell was so strong. I kept it outside overnight for 24 hours and still had a slight smell remaining and is still present, Needs to aired each sheet change.
