    It made the car go.

    A couple of weeks ago I had a bit of excitement, as my '06 Outback decided to act as if it had no accelerator pedal--the last 20 miles to my destination were traveled at a fast idle, 5 mph uphill and as fast as I liked downhill. All worked fine after I restarted the car to head home, but I discovered that other Outbacks of similar age and mileage had reported similar problems linked to the sensors in the pedal. If the two sensors don't send roughly identical signals, the car goes into a limp mode to prevent a runaway car. Some reported that it didn't happen a second time for months, but others experienced this multiple times a day.     Matched exactly the part it replaced - even the paint marks on the fasteners!

    Part as described with Denso manufactured label in the same place as the one it replaced. Packaged in a Subaru oil filter box which gave me pause. Installation went perfectly, so form, fit, and function were first class.

    Oem subaru pedal

    Replaced my old pedal after taking my car down then road I stopped and let off the brakes and the car kept going. Turns out the pedal had irregular voltages in the pedal electronics and was freaking out at random times. Stopped the car and shut it off and started the car and the problem went away for 5 minutes. Replaced the pedal and all the problems are gone!
