  • An excellent work by a capable author who has clarity and style.

    I bought this book because of a lifelong-interest in history, and particularly of progressive era in American politics - not to mention one of the more colorful individuals to occupy the presidency - and an innovator for his time. I minored in History in College, back when the printing press was coming into vogue, and started a trend in printing books which you can hold and read in a real-life-setting. I have read other works by this author and have not been disappointed in the clarity and detail of her style. I have only begun this book, but if I wait to write the review, I will forget to do it. Seriously, I would recommend this whatever your level of interest in history for a good, informative read, with insights into how quantum leaps in history have to start with a rebellious ...
