    Almost a perfect replacement

    The agitator fits perfectly and appears to be exactly the same as the original part . It was very easy to remove the old part and refit this one so a much better option than having a repair man come for such a simple problem . However the cup at the top where the fabric softener is placed is extremely tight and almost impossible to remove so there must be some marginal difference in the dimensions . As I never use fabric softener this is not a problem for me -I just leave the cup off but it would be for some others.

    Agitation beyond belief!

    I have searched the length and breath of the web for an agitator, and I must say that my wiife and I have been overwhelmed by the beaury and sheer agitoriness of this device. Not only does it look beautiful, when installed in our washing machine, it is also a joy to watch the mesmerising action when it is turning. Watching the suds sloshing about was almost an orgasmic experience. I cannot speak highly (or with more hyperbole) about this agitator. Every F+P washing machine owner needs one. Buy one --- who knows what it might do for your sex-life!

    Happy with my purchase

    Bought this to replace the original agitator that had a tear in one of the fins. Easy to install and fits perfectly. A bit cheaper than buying from F&P directly so I'm happy so far with this product. I've only done 3-4 loads of washing since installing but seems to be doing the job nicely thanks.

    Lack of design inprovement

    There is no replacement. The design has not changed similar to original item which required replacement causing bed sheets ,to rip during washing.. The problem is the bottom 3 wings lack support and eventually fracture creating sharp edges to be caught on material sheets.
