Functional but with issues
First of all, the 6mm bolts that come with it are too long and the mounts won't get tight because the bolts bottom out. So be prepared to make another purchase at the hardware store. Secondly, the plastic caps that are designed to snap on won't stay snapped in. I had to glue them so they wouldn't fly off going down the highway. Lastly, the rubber boots are downright cheesey looking and the whole setup just looks cheap because of that. PROS • Inexpensive • Fit my vehicle properly • Relatively simple to install if you have basic DIY knowledge CONS • The Allen wrench provided is useless; plan on sourcing your own • Slight whistling sound at highway speed, but not horrible • The end caps that cover the hardware are flimsy and feel like they're holding on by a thread. I'll be amazed if I don't lose one or two during an extended trip. They're OK. I'd upgrade to a more durable product if I could do it again.
