    I gave this book to my oldest son when he left for college 2 years ago. I just purchased this second copy for my second son who will be leaving in the spring. The oldest son carries his copy in his vehicle!! It's a simple, yet realistic and practical, view on those little everyday things that a teen needs to know when he goes off to college. Knowledge such as what temperature to wash white clothes on or how to sew on a button. What to do when the power goes off or how to jump start a vehicle. A great all around book with humor for your teen leaving home!

    Good Book Many Adults Could Use But Never Got

    This is a book with advice in it that so many adults do not adhere to and is the difference between a functional and disfunctional life. Book is a must for people of all ages and definitely yound adults and teens as this stuff is not taught in school and will keep people from being "taken" in life. Advice to keep you safe and live the good life.

    My girls love it, thanks!!

    I work in a home for abused teenage girls, we read part of this book every day. They look forward to hearing the advice from the book. Its also nice to have what us workers try to tell them in writting from an outside source as well. This book is very encouraging.
