The lockable docking station for my Lenovo Thinkpad T530 arrived, well packaged, within a couple of days. It was very inexpensively priced so I was not sure what to expect. In the event, it is well made piece of kit that was easily attached and offers numerous addition ports (especially USBs and monitor ports). For me, the selling point was the provision of separate audio in and audio out 3.5mm stereo jack sockets. I am very pleased with this purchase.

    Good but could be better

    The docking station works very well and has 1 USB 3 port which is very welcome. It also saves my power port wear and tear on my laptop. I think it could have more ports and was surprised by the minimalist aspect of it. The design is going to spoil my use of a other brand nine cell battery I think, I doubt it will fit the dock. It has both positives a negatives in the design, I like the way you can just sort of drop the laptop on it and sort of snatch it after pressing the release button. But that battery suspicion plus the apparent lack of ports brings it down.
