Proper, Adult Kayaks
These Kayaks came in a useful bag that comfortably stores the deflated boat, collapsed oar and what turned out to be quite an effective pump. Inflating in two sections, I did manage to clip the seat in backwards on my first try. However, when I realised the space for my legs was behind the seat back, the seat was just as easily re-positioned. The canvas-vinyl construction is much heavier duty and robust than I'd feared. This is not a blow-up pool toy for the kids, but a proper, inflatable, adult kayak. A whole lot of thought and attention has obviously gone into the design and construction of the oar, too, which allows you to choose the angles of the paddles yet clips easily and strongly into place. I'm 5'6" so leg room was never going to be a problem, but I was delighted to find ... Great Wilderness Kayak - with some reservations
I required a fishing kayak to perform specific tasks. It must fit inside a small SUV, be light & easy to portage, be simple to inflate and suitable for launching from difficult rock outcrops on the Nymboida (white water) River in NE NSW. It performs the base requirements with ease. The Nimboida rocks are large and smooth so punctures are unlikely, but this kayak was never intended to be a fishing kayak and will need moderate modifications to meet this goal.I required a fishing kayak to perform specific tasks. Great value for money, good in the water, good quality
Took this inflatable kayak for a try out on a lake. I was surprised at how well it tracked and was really comfy, could have stayed in it all day. 4 Other members of our family took it for a spin and found it really easy to handle, they now want one of these . Great to pack up, it all fits into the bag provided very well. Fast to pump up, about 5 mins. Just don't forget to fit the skeg before you set out, (I did the first time!!!! DRAMAS). Took this inflatable kayak for a try out on a lake.
