Product Information

The children's cable network Nickelodeon fashions an American spin on Japanese anime with their original series AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER. On a futuristic Earth torn between the warring elements of Air, Earth, Water, and Fire, only one special being known as the Avatar can bring peace to the conflicted planet. The trouble is, the Avatar is an immature 12-year-old boy called Aang, who would rather wander the world having fun-filled adventures than settle down and face his heroic destiny.     Avatar: My New Love

    When I first heard of the new show on Nick and saw the preview, my first honest reaction was "you've GOT to be kidding me. They'll put ANYTHING on tv!" And then, by total accident, I found myself watching one of the episodes. Love at first sight. So I got on eBay and bought the first 4 episodes (volume 1) and it's definitely a favourite!! I'm really into anime anyways, and Avatar is so like it, I feel right at home ^_^ The action sequences are great, I love the use of martial arts and the elements, and they put emotion into the series, but not enough to make you cringe ^_^ Girly as I may be, I'm NOT a sob story fan. So, A+ from me!! I can't wait to see the rest of the series!!

    Great Quality-Slow delivery

    The DVD's I ordered arrived in GREAT condition, not a scratch on them! However, the dvd's took FOREVER to get here. First, eBay said he'd sent them but then it took that back and said that the postage had been destroyed or lost or something. Then, when I FINALLY got the dvd's I was in another state and had to have a friend send it to me because I didn't think that it would take nearly 3 weeks to get my package. If I had known that, I would have had the package sent to my new address.

    Avatar: Book 1/ chpt 1-4

    Excellent product. I enjoy watching this series with my sons ages 3 and 5. they love the show and it is an excellent show for little boys for this day and age. It has all the adventurous, action, and excitement for kids of all ages. I enjoy the fact that there is no profanity or indecency of any type in the show. Thanx for good entertainment... DJ

    Avatar - Too Cool for words

    Not only do my kids love it but that shaggy hairy bison thingy is my fav yeti type Chewbacca impersonator ever. And now I have discovered Avatar the TCG (like Yugioh) but a one on one not monsters x 5 as in Yugioh. I am a bit unsure of "the last airbender" as a title but maybe it is the translation?
