Fantastic Caribbean cookery reference manual !

Well written and comprehensive, in simple complete manner. Include a list of ingredients accessible to All , as related to Caribbean cooking . The author is a very well appreciated person in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean and is considered , in my opinion, a Master Chef , as well as in others opinions.

    • AUTHENTIC PUERTO RICAN COOKING

This book available in spanish as wellas in english. It is the true"Bible" of Puerto Rican Cooking! My grandmother had this book in spanish, and referenced almost daily. I now proudly own it and tresure the handwritten anotations she made in the margins. It is a must have for the adventurous cook. Our cuisine is flavorful yet not overly spicy like mexican food can sometimes be. Puerto Rican cuisine is a wonderful melee of cultures With its roots being european, african and indian. The book has easy to follow recipes .I have purchased this book as gifts for my daughter in laws in English and for friendsA great addition to your cookbook collection. The ingrediants and spices for most of the dishes can be found at your local supermarket.
