    Possibly not for the technically challenged ...

    This meter is very well packaged to prevent damage in transit. The instruction manual (and electrical connections) is precise and easily read. On a test set-up, the voltage reading was very accurate. Maybe I missed something, but to make the current display correctly, this unit appears to require calibration for the shunt supplied, a proceedure well explained in the instructions. I would, however, suspect most users of this product don't have the skills, or equipment, to do this correctly, if at all. Once calibrated, though, this unit works as described. Being able to set alarm points for the various measured values is the reason I bought this unit in the first place.
