I just installed these on my F6 which has 480rwkw. I cannot believe how good it drives now. It's smooth, precise and it corners better too. Considerable Vibration at idle in automatics
These mounts cause a lot of vibration in automatics at idle but once moving it stops this wouldn't be a problem for a manual vehicle that being said they make huge improvement to vehicle stability as they stop engine movement when braking and cornering as the standard hydraulic mounts allow a lot of movement ,to see just how much they move grab the top of the rocker cover with both hands (when cold) and push the engine side to side back and forth and its surprising how much it moves. So in an automatic if you don't mind vibration at idle they greatly improve braking stability and overall vehicle handling These mounts cause a lot of vibration in automatics at idle but once moving it stops this wouldn't be a problem for a manual vehicle that being said they make huge improvement to vehicle stability as they stop engine movement when braking and cornering as the standard hydraulic mounts allow a lot of movement ,to see just how much they move grab the top of the rocker cover with both hands (when cold) and push the engine side to side back and forth and its surprising how much it moves.
