    Asus RT-AC68P (used) Great for AiMesh Node

    Bought this used: Item came with slight damage to one antenna due to being attached and loosely packed. The router in the picture is most likely a different one although I did receive the same model without the Ethernet patch cord which I didn’t need anyway. It could have been packed better. I’m using this router as a AiMesh node for which it works great! Note: I did update firmware first, and then configured this router as a node.

    NICE UNIT EASY SETUP / STAND UP OR MOUNT

    Nice unit. There was nothing wrong with my D-Link other than it was slow for the fiber brought in. This one has a higher transfer spd. Works real well. I did not need high security since my home sits inside 50 private acres and no person can get close enough to utilize the wireless w. o. being seen first. I am about to install wireless cameras at the barn 175ft from the home. This will be the test. My galaxy S4 cel used to access the wireless wifi from there with the D-Link. If this unit also has the same range to run the new cameras, then its a true homer. I did look over the security settings and it can be made pretty secure in todays standards. Happy with it so far. It has not gone off line in the past few months that it was installed and has not needed a reset.

    Very Good Performance at a Great Price

    I studied wireless routers for a while and the RT-AC68P was one of my top three. When I saw the price of this refurbished unit, it was a no brainer. It arrived looking brand new with all pats and manual. It installed easily and provides better speed and coverage on both bands than my old Netgear. I'm glad I bought it!

    Older Router Expands WiFi Network

    Some Asus routers can be used in a mesh network. This is one of them. Works well, and gives great wifi coverage to those "hard to reach" spots.

    I just works!

    3 failed netgear and linksys routers bought from name brand stores led me to this recommended by a family member. The interface is easy to user and feature rich and the thing is just quality. It has a weight and style that is just nicer than the other brands. It has great signal strength, works with everything and looks good doing it. Oh yeah, no resets yet, 1 month and counting.
