      Snap-On RKRF936 ratchet repair kit

Another awesome Snap-On ratchet repair kit. This one is for the older F936 ratchets. There is only one thing I can't figure about why S-O manufacturered the gear assembly without a gear cradle centering protrusion support. The back of the gear assembly there should be a centering protrusion, machined into the gear wheel. This is a critical feature to strengthen and keep the gear assembly from "walking" inside the ratchet head. But apparently S-O figured there was no need for the 936 to need this feature? What I can't figure is why S-O didn't implement this feature into the 936 series? In the previous 830 we had this feature, and going all the way back to the F70 in the 1930's we had this feature. But now I'm too far off topic of my original review, so I'll stop there.👍

    • Factory repair kit, works great, thanks!...

Factory repair kit, works great, thanks! Can be used with the “FOD” variation of the F936 ratchet once rivets are drilled out. Be careful when drilling to not damage the cover as the cover is already threaded and ready to accept the screws in this repair kit.

    • Its back in business boys

Works like it should. The detent spring is more easier to install since the ball is attached to the spring, so no ohh snap where did that fly off to if it got away from you. Snap on and all others do break when used past for what they were designed for.
