Fantastic Klone
I have a Klon KTR, this Archer Ikon and an Aluminum Falcon. They're all indistinguishable. The Archer is the one you should buy as the KTR/AF are either over priced or the seller is difficult to deal with. All the online reviews with crappy compressed audio/video couldn't do them justice so I had to test them in person. The Archer is also the smallest (and labeled unlike the "just remember GTO" KTR). You won't go wrong buying this if you want that OD Klon sound. In fact, it's even smaller than I expected, almost a mini pedal.I have a Klon KTR, this Archer Ikon and an Aluminum Falcon. Better than the Real Deal
I have owned and used many Klon clones, and two real ones over the years. The Archer does exactly what I want a Klon to do and does it reliably and quietly. Equally happy pushing the front of an amp or driving into another dirt pedal. The relatively small footprint isn't a bad thing either. Great pedal.

Super pedal .... has alot of character, and very flexible for complementing one's setup. If this circuit is indeed the closest yet to a true Klon, then I now see what all the hoopla has been about .... though I would never have even considered going after one of those ridiculously priced after-market Klon's. But with a price under $200, this is definitely a good deal. I would recommend this pedal for any player who wants a top-drawer clean boost, and the extended flexibility of merging in various levels of tasty overdrive. Also, the Ikon works very well with other pedals in one's chain, both before & after the Ikon. Rgds. Super pedal .... has alot of character, and very flexible for complementing one's setup. Rock and Roll Machine!
It's exactly what I expected. I my case a bit better/natural booster than Tubescreamer. The knobs work differently and it get noisy (like the original Klone) all the way up.

I like the clean boost it provides.
Its a different option compared to the tube screamer. I can achieve tube screamer like harmonics with out a mid range boost. I also think it offers a different range of harmonic tonal color to fool around with. I still like my tube screamer and both on my pedal board.
