I own a Fender Stratocaster and I have tried between the .08 to .010 electric guitar strings by the Ernie ball, D'addario and Fender brands. Since I like to strum fast and move alot on the fretboard, and my fingers tips are sensitive, pressing down hard to achieve good string/chord voicings presents a somewhat of extra hold-down time duration, I have found that the Fender 250XS Extra Super Light .008-.038 strings render excellent performance in sound, flexibility and easy of travel on the fretboard. These are the Only type I use on my strat. Happy strumming..
