    At last a great history of American Bicycle Racing

    I did not realize how important Velodrome racing was in the U.S.A. until I read Peter Nye's book. This book gives an exciting description of how that racing became a global phenomanon in the roaring twenties and the American tracks in Newark, Madison Square Gardens and Salt Lake City were in the center of it all.

    A must read of american racers

    Lots of bicycle raceing action and lots of bicycle history an excelent book to read hard to set aside and stop reading. I enjoyed it very much.
