      NOT A GENUINE HAYWARD OEM FILTER CARTRIDGE POOR QUALITY AND FIT

      This product is not a genuine Hayward OEM filter cartridge as represented by the seller IN THE Swim. The filter cartridge does not properly fit inside the filter because the opening in the central core of the filter is smaller than the original, genuine OEM Hayward filter cartridge. As a result of the very poor fit it is quite difficult to reseal the filter as the cartridge is pushing against the top of the filter cap. The product is Mislabeled, as it has the Hayward name all over it. The more closely you look at the product, the more you realize the difference in how this product is made in comparison with the original OEM product. I had to rate this product with 1 star in order to submit the review. It does not even deserve a single star.

      Buy the best

      Previously purchased another brand and out of the box from new it would not flow as well as the Hayward...pool vacuum works stronger with Hayward. Well worth the couple of extra dollars to get real quality.

      OEM always better and cheaper in the long run!

      OEM PRODUCT: Always better but also, more expensive at first, but lasts much longer (2x's plus) and does a much better job filtering and provides extended times between cleanings as compared to the aftermarket filters. Tried them but went back to OEM.

      Nothing as good as Hayward if U can afford it

      Fits the filter housing on the bottom very snug as it should. Cleans the water much better because it appears to have about 25% more pleats. Clean psi is around 17 just as the cheap filter was. Hard to find but I will buy it again if I can find one.
