Takumi may seem like a lazy, unfocused teenager to outsiders, but those who know him realize that he's one of the best street racers in all of Japan. Drivers from around the country travel to his home town of Akina just to challenge him to a race in INITIAL D. A far cry from the silliness of SPEED RACER, INITIAL D focuses on the intense, outlaw world of drag racing, where daredevils and their modified cars set out to prove who's the fastest, no matter what the danger. INITIAL D V. 10 features episodes 28-30 of the Animé series, or episodes 2-4 of INITIAL D SECOND STAGE. In these episodes, Takumi hurtles towards a confrontation with Team Emperor, a group of arrogant racers, while at the same time he has to deal with accusations made against his girlfriend Natsuki. Fueled by an intense techno soundtrack, INITIAL D should appeal to fans of both racing and Animé.
