Van Hagar at it's best!
Live Van Halen during the early nineties at the peak of the Sammy Hagar days. Great concert footage and playlist. It's a little strange with two different concerts of footage being edited together even on the same song but it comes off OK. A great documentation of Van Hale when things were hitting on all cylinders.

I remember the VHS version having more meat to it. This DVD version doesn't even include the exact same musical line-up that's on the CD of the same title. Namely their tribute to the "Who, Won't Get Fooled Again." What's up with that? Personally, with all the heavy editing that was done to this CD, it's lost it's energy. For a better Van Halen Live performance, I recommend their DVD entitled, "Live Without A Net" as compared to this one. I just don't know what the recording producers were thinking on this one.I remember the VHS version having more meat to it. concert footage
I rented a Van Halen concert and after watching it, I bought this dvd. This dvd is different from the one I rented. Both are concert footage from various cities but the rented one had a far better drum solo. Alex had a bigger drum set and had a variety of sounds on the rented dvd and just had his average set and concentrated on timing and speed on this bought dvd. There were other small substandard differences but still I am glad that I have this in my dvd collection.I rented a Van Halen concert and after watching it, I bought this dvd.
