Good replacement
A little tricky programming. One unit programmed up relatively easy (first door) but second door did not want to accept code. Overcame by changing dip switch code on second door old remote and getting door to accept this new code then programming the new second controller. For some reason the new controller did not want to accept original controller code for this second door.

Replacement Remote for B&D Roller Door Remote
Replacement for B&D Roller Door Remote. I bought two items - one to replace a broken controller. It took 2 minutes to program and works well. The second was to supplement an old remote. Programming was more complicated, so as to preserve the function of the original controller as well as the new unit. The Instructions were easy to follow and both old and new remotes work as required. The new units work from at least 10 metres from the doors. There is a plastic sliding cover which prevents accidental activation of the unit. As these replacement remotes are only a third of the cost of the original remote and come in a much better compact form. The only minor grip is that there is no info on what type of replacement battery is required and whether replacing the battery will lose the ... Replacement for B&D Roller Door Remote. It works and it's tough!
It's cheap and it works as advertised. Shipping was quick and I asked for mine to be pre-programmed, which it was. It's also pretty strong. Mine fell out of my pocket while I was cycling, and I watched several cars run over it before I could rescue it. I mean, talk about Murphy's law: it landed exactly on the part of the road where every passing car's tyres rolled right over it. It's a bit scuffed up but it still works fine. they are good value and work well, though they could be a bit stronger as mine broke when I changed the battery. but I got about 6 years out of my old one before it died so I guess they are pretty good. I am happy with it overall
