  • Action/adventure, good clean fun

This is an enjoyable action/adventure movie without crude language, nudity, or gore. Some shooting, explosions, and death, but nothing that will make you lose your lunch. Laura Linney plays the strongest female character I've seen in ages. She shoots missiles out of the sky with a flare gun, parachutes from a plane, and still manages to look pretty and feminine without resorting to skimpy outfits or seducing the men in her expedition. The other female in this otherwise all-male cast is Amy the gorrilla. Amy's loyalty and courage are exemplary, putting most of the male cast to shame (with one notable exception, most of the guys are greedy, geeky, or simply cannon fodder). That's not a criticism; after all, if you're searching for a mythical city in the African jungle, and almost ...

  • Worth your time

Congo is an exciting movie that brings you on a fun, fast paced adventure deep into the jungle. The story moves well, sometimes the acting is forced, but it is overall very enjoyable. At times the movie becomes a bit unbelievable, but the story is engaging and gripping. The animatronic ape is awesome, and the relationship between animal and handler is emotional and could touch you very deeply. I really enjoyed this movie, and I have watched it a few times now. I purchased this copy as a gift for my mother who loves the movie and the music in the movie. It's definitely worth a watch.

  • Very good movie, Great price, Enjoyable, Interesting

Great deal, great price, great product. I really enjoyed this movie. It is really very good and some parts sad. I like movies that make it interesting. It is a very good mive. I like the actors and actress they made it very good. I like the good things in here also. No bad language. Bad language does not bother me at all any way. I dont mind movies what ever there rating is. I think that if parents dont want kids to see things they should watch all movies and then decide if they children can watch them. I would watch this movie again it was very exciting. It keep you in to the movie. You want to stary into this movie. Everyone needs to watch this movie at least once. Not everyone will like this movie. You have to have an open mind. Not everyone has this.

  • Very good movie
