    Works with Aristocraft switches

    The springs on my Aristocraft switches rusted away after ten years outdoors on my garden railroad.These Bachmann switch mechanisms were a welcome solution. They fit perfectly right out of the box. I like them better than the original Aristocraft mechanisms.I would recommend them to anyone who has a similar problem. It only took a few days from when I ordered them until they were delivered.

    Bachmann may fit Bachmann items, but not the Aristo switch. Disappointed, was returned.

    Does not fit all switches - points on the switch don't close completely - even after some modification attempts. Looked like a good idea. But the switch stand is too tall for short Aristocraft switch. Hits the side of a freight car, on the curved portion and the longer bar has to be used in most cases. But it's a pain to switch the extra bars given.

    worthwhile addition to your layout, looks and works great.

    great product, looks a lot more realistic than the regular switch. The function is so much better than the simple spring activated units that tend to let the points drift, the geared inside holds the points in place firmly. Highly recommend.
