This manual worked great for a novice like myself to save some money on a few repairs. The last review stated that it is very basic but this isn't meant for actual mechanics tearing apart a motor or transmission, they use shop manuals for those kind of repairs. If your looking for something to help with common repairs that don't involve a hoist and a mechanics vast toolset, this manual is for you.

This manual covers too many models to give real specific details on complete diagnosis and repair of your specific model. It is a good BASIC reference manual at best. For the DIY all car repair person, you would be best to invest in a factory manual or a service like Alldata. I have had many other Chilton manuals in the past, and this one has been the least helpful and the one that I should have saved my money on. It is very vague on the information for my 2000 Grand Prix and the specific information that I needed.
