Unfortunately there was a few issues with the item I ordered, some shipping related and another was unknown until I went to use it, but the seller replied to my messages very promptly and handled the issues appropriately. Hard Drive works great
I needed a second hard drive for my 80 GB Playstation 3. Now with the "My Book" I have another 160 GB to store videos, music, and pictures (games must be stored on the PS3's hard drive). It works well with the PS3 and it is a no-hassle product. It comes already formatted as FAT32, which is the file system supported by the PS3 so you don't have to do any formatting yourself. Not so great.....
It is a good external drive and easy to use, but the proper software did not install when I plugged it in....I tried to navigate thru their website but not very helpful either...I ended downloading a free "sync" program and it works fine. Overall, I serves it purpose but nothing special...

Well packaged(bubble wrap). No scratches and it works
The hard drive took about 5 days to arrive and when it did it came through the usps. It came well protected in bubble wrap with all of the appropiate cables, the power cable and a usb cable to hook it up to my computer. It turns on an i'm happy to say that it works well. I'm new to external hard drive so i was a little confused at first since it didn't come with instruction manual or an installation cd but it all worked out in the end.The hard drive took about 5 days to arrive and when it did it came through the usps. usb hard drive
works great with no problems needed a way to back up a large amount of data from several computers and my previous hard drive went haywire. It proved to be "just what the doctor ordered" for my needs. great unit for somebody wanting to back up a lot of data or needs a way to transfer data from one computer to another.

This item works really well, and for the price it's a deal if you can stand the fact that it's pretty good sized....like a novel... I liked the fastness but dislike the size... All in all though, just for home computing, it's a steal. For a laptop bag, it's combursome.
