    OK price for a used, older HD, but shipping over the top.

    I've found Toshiba HD's to be highly reliable and I've used 1,000's, thousands, of HD's for projects. With PMR technology, Toshiba has increased their HD's data retention dependability. I'm using this drive in a quality Rocket Fish external enclosure for off system critical data back up and portability. Although used and older, SMART and diagnostics show a very clean HD. Shipping was a little over the top. Given the size and weight of these HD's, they ship nicely USPS 1st Class or Priority in a bubble pack at a lower cost.

    Toshiba MK8034GSX HDD2D38 (80 GB, Serial ATA, 8 MB) Har

    I was looking for an external hard drive to use as a backup drive for my laptop. The Toshiba MK8034GSX HDD2D38 80 GB seemed like a good choice. It came without a case which I was able to easily purchase on line. It was quckly recognized by my laptop and is big enough for several backups. I would recommend this hard drive for any external storage needs.

    I buy this for downloading files but save my main HDD, and this plan works. This HDD can tolerate more than 60MB/s writing, love it.

    Hard drive

    I bought this harddrive to relace one that crashed on a friend's laptop. I decided to replace it with the same model that was installed previously.The new one worked great and i liked the speed.
