  • The book "Fireflies" is excellent for greiving parents

Since this book is based on a true life tragedy, the content is not only enlightening to those who have not faced the loss of a child but it also lends support to those who have. Mr. Morrell's honest but heart rendering account of life before and so soon after Matthew's death is a testament to the inner strenght that is in all of us. Fortunatley most people do not have to come face to face with this type of tragedy. Like all of David Morrell's books that I have read, it was well written and well worth the cost.

  • A Must Read

This is without a doubt the best book I have ever read. It is the story of a man dealing with his intense grief after the loss of his son to a six month long brave battle with cancer. I have read a lot of books but I have never read one that has been able to give me a reaction in my soul the way this one did. You feel this man's pain and desperation and most importantly, his hope. Highly recommended.
